For Christmas I just got a Flip minoHD, which is intended to replace my 10 year old camcorder. Somebody I know was considering getting one of these, and wanted to know whether it would be worth it compared to shooting video from their phone. Of course, there’s a lot to answering that question, and a lot depends on what you have and what you’re doing, so I can’t really say. But to provide a data point, I’ll offer up this little sample.
