I’ve been confirmed to participate in an iPhone Tech Talk session in DC on October 12. I’m hoping to apply what I learn there to making MacIDOL stream with iPhones and iPod Touchs.

I’m happy to see that almost everything works. The one exception is playing music off of MacIDOL. I’m constrained with the software that MacIDOL uses behind the scenes for serving the music—it doesn’t do it in a way that is iPhone compatible.I’ve had one session with the Apple documentation trying quick tweaks to the Quicktime embeds, to no avail, so I’ll have do dig a bit deeper.

It’s great being able to participate in the forum and even perform administrative tasks on the go, though.
